Care from Our Mother

As I have reflected on my life, I realize that there are so many times that I needed my mom.  I remember hearing from others that when I was little, I never wanted anyone to pick me up or hold me …only mom.

I suppose something like that happens in our spiritual life too.  Mother Mary wants to be the one to hold us, take us by the hand and lead us to her Son.

I am super excited to share with you one of my favourite devotions…a devotion in which Our Mother Mary takes hold of us and cares for us!  The devotion to the Miraculous Medal.  On the Miraculous Medal is a very powerful prayer, “O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.”  This is a very powerful prayer that we can pray during the day as we go about our duties and we will see that Our Lady will accompany us all throughout the journey of life.  Somehow, praying this prayer to Our Lady helps us to maintain peace of heart, knowing that she takes us by the hand and is always by our side.  Wearing the Miraculous Medal also helps us to have a greater love for the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
